About Angela

Angela has extensive experience working with complex emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. Developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive therapeutic approaches are used. Angela’s migration experience has given her first- hand experience and awareness of the ongoing complexities of migration and resettlement for children young people and families. Angela speaks fluent Italian and English.

Angela’s grandchildren are the greatest passion in her life. They have given her the opportunity to fall in love many times over, and provide her opportunities to enter their world and reflect on many aspects of living with fresh eyes, greater appreciation and different mindset.

Angela’s professional experience spans over many years working extensively in diverse settings with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. She specialises in Children & Young People Counselling; Interpersonal Relationships and Couples Counselling; Parenting & Families social and emotional health through the lifespan; Family Therapy; Adult Mental Health; Trauma Therapy and Clinical Supervision and Professional Training.

Angela Ranallo is an Accredited Mental Health Clinician with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) and Clinical member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT).

Angela is committed to ongoing professional development and has undertaken specialist training nationally and internationally in Systemic Family Therapy and Relationships Counselling in Australia, Cognitive and Behvioural Therapies in Australia, Family Psychotherapy training in Italy and Narrative Therapy with renowned Australian, American and New Zealand masters in the field.
